Smiths Profiles has customers in each of these application sectors and can offer design and application expertise to help in sourcing and supply.
Fabricating, finishing and assembly of the extrusions are part of the Smiths Profiles service. As with the extrusion itself, these operations will be sourced from the optimum suppliers of both the extruded products and the added value fabrication, finishing and assembly services.
Finishing includes decorative laminates, brushing and polishing in addition to a full range of painted colours, standard and colour anodising and thermal break for architectural applications.
Fabricating facilities can be as simple as precision cutting to length or as complex as multi-axis, multi-task machining and assembly of components, delivered in the customer's own packaging or other branded packages. |
